Share a festive camp life moment, that is the aim of the « Venite et gaudete » (Come and be happy) activity. During the Eurojam, each patrol has the opportunity to have dinner and festive evening with two patrols of another nationality. The twinning and the meeting with the other are experienced with smiles and good mood. The evening is for each scout a relaxation moment.

Louis, patrol leader from Mayenne in the « réseau de l’araignée » (free patrols’ network), explains this experience :

« Our patrol received an Italian patrol and a Polish one. We cooked together, ad each one shared a speciality from their country. We even did the washing up together and the evening continued around the camp fire, at which point we shared in games and songs in each language. »

This sharing in the joy of being together holds a pedagogical dimension. Marc-André, leader in the « réseau de l’araignée », explains :

«  It’s a moment of the daily camp life arranged to share with other nationalities, and not only meet them during an activity such as a big game, after which we each go back to our own camp. « Venite Et Gaudete » favorises the meeting of others and open-mindedness through sharing and joy.
